5 Best Beaches on Bonaire

Updated: Dec 14, 2019

1. PINK BEACH

Pink Beach is located next to the magical salt pyramids of Bonaire and has that same pink vibe. It is perfect for watching sunsets when the sand and palm trees shine in an amazing pink hue.

COOL TIP: If you are lucky you even get to see flamingos flying by as there are many of them around the salt pans.

2. SOROBON BEACH

Don't be fooled by the fact that there is only one windsurfing beach on the island. Sorobon Beach is a cool hang out at one of the world's most famous windsurfing destinations, where the sea is famously waist-high and the wind blows inland into the lagoon, undoubtedly making it the most convenient windsurfing location in the world.

Sorobon beach is great for all levels of windsurfing expertise, from beginner to professional. Watch pro windsurfers do their tricks or try windsurfing yourself!

3. THOUSAND STEPS BEACH

Descend the steps (there is not actually 1000 of them) to a beautiful beach known as one of the best snorkelling spots on the island, so don't forget to bring your snorkelling gear.

COOL TIP: A great location to spot sea turtles, you are almost guaranteed to swim with them here.

4. BOKA SLAGBAAI

Located in Slagbaai National Park, here you can find fun cliff jumping, as well as flamingo sightings. Go on, dive right in!

5. NO NAME BEACH, KLEIN BONAIRE

Taking a water taxi from Kralendijk to the uninhibited and pure island of Klein Bonaire is well worth it as you land in paradise with endless sand, turquoise waters, pristine coral reef and fish to swim with.
